Aims and objectives:
We are a community run pre-school set up as a registered charity.
Services and activities offered:
The aims of the pre-school are: To provide a safe, secure and caring environment where learning is fun; To enhance each child's personal and social development; To broaden each child's knowledge and understanding; To provide avenues through which parents can be actively involved in pre-school activities and in their child's progress.
We currently run pre-school sessions in the mornings Monday to Friday during school term time
The pre-school is available to children from 2years of age, up to when they attend school. Children are funded by the local authority from the term after their 3rd birthday to attend session.
Special needs catered for:
Our Staff are fully trained in early years education and each child is taken into the pre-school with their own needs assessed with their parents/carers and outside professionals.
Non funded children are charged at £4.00 per hour. Children receive funding from the Government the term following their 3rd birthday and are not charged anything for the sessions unless they go over 15hours a week. We also accept funded 2 years, but parent/carers must meet certain criteria.
Starting times Monday to Friday 9.00am, 9.30am, 10.00am & 11.00am. Finishing times 12noon, 12.30pm and 1.00pm. Opening Tuesday afternoon from 12noon - 3.00pm for children going to school in September.
