The Holiday Homes Trust The Trust provides low cost, self-catering holidays for families with special needs (physical or mental handicap, elderly, low income, one parent) in their chalet and caravans on fully commercial sites. The Trust has 10 units on 9 sites. All units are wheelchair accessible. No scouting connection required. We are at present
referring some holiday makers to The Family Holiday Association, who are part of social tourism, and they will pay £100 towards the holiday if they are under £28,000 income and not had a holiday as a family for the last 4years.

Green Island Holiday Trust (Poole) We organise six, week long holidays at Holton Lee, a specialist disability, wheelchair friendly, respite and holiday centre, based on the edge of Poole Harbour in a 350acre site. It is four miles west of Poole town.
Five holiday makers who need some help and care will be looked after by six volunteer carers. Each holiday starts on a Saturday and finishes on the following Friday.
The holidays will be very similar to those that have taken place on Green Island for the last fifteen years. They will involve various activities suited to the group. We may include an Art and Craft session, Bird watching, Pony & trap riding, Bar-BQ's, music and boat trips exploring Poole Harbour in our wheelchair friendly boat.
