  Homeserve provides three services for older people in the Gosport area who are unable to carry out these tasks themselves. The services include Dustbusters, a weekly domestic cleaning service, Gosport Gardens and DART (Decorating and Repair Team). The services are paid for but are subsidised by our funders.

• Thrive - Trunkwell Garden Project
  This charity uses gardening to improve the lives of disabled, disadvantaged and older people. The organisation aims to develop users' social skills and confidence, the learning/re-learning of basic skills, the gaining of experience and qualifications needed for jobs, restoring strength/mobility and breaking down barriers that create isolation. Direct services to groups and individuals are available at four demonstration gardens, including Trunkwell Park near Reading. Thrive can also provide professional courses in running horticultural programmes, courses in therapeutic horticulture, quarterly magazine for practitioners and Come Gardening magazine for blind gardeners.
