St Vincent College is a 6th Form & Community College providing a professional and friendly service to over 2000 adult students. Our courses range from Open Learning, NVQ's to examinations and non-examination subjects. They can be part-time or full-time, during the day or evening. Special opportunities for unemployed adults or adults with learning disabilities/difficulties.

Homeserve Homeserve provides three services for older people in the Gosport area who are unable to carry out these tasks themselves. The services include Dustbusters, a weekly domestic cleaning service, Gosport Gardens and DART (Decorating and Repair Team). The services are paid for but are subsidised by our funders.

Thrive - Trunkwell Garden Project This charity uses gardening to improve the lives of disabled, disadvantaged and older people. The organisation aims to develop users' social skills and confidence, the learning/re-learning of basic skills, the gaining of experience and qualifications needed for jobs, restoring strength/mobility and breaking down barriers that create isolation. Direct services to groups and individuals are available at four demonstration gardens, including Trunkwell Park near Reading. Thrive can also provide professional courses in running horticultural programmes, courses in therapeutic horticulture, quarterly magazine for practitioners and Come Gardening magazine for blind gardeners.

University of The Third Age (U3A - Alton) We run nearly 40 groups which are a mix of both physical and academic. Also coach outings to events and places of interest such as theatres, museums and National Trust properties etc.

University Of The Third Age (U3A - Emsworth & District) A monthly general meeting with a speaker and small group meetings, usually in members' homes, on topics of common interest - e.g. literature, poetry, musical appreciation, languages, geneaology and local history. Approximately 20 Subject and Activity groups are run though some have waiting lists to join.
