Broadlands Group of Riding For The Disabled We have 7 horses that are maintained by our charity and each year we aim to provide a 1000 rides for riders of all ages and disabilities. Our riders have the opportunity to interact with our horses through riding, helping in the stable yard and competing in both regional and national competitions.

Riding for The Disabled Association (Aldershot & District) We provide the opportunity of riding for disabled young people who might benefit in the general health and well-being. A sense of achievement and confidence may be gained. Signed permission of their medical practitoner must be obtained.

Royal Artillery Pony Club Pony club for children, ideally with ponies, who have rallies, outings and camps during school holidays. We teach them to look after their ponies, ride better and enjoy themselves. We organise & run various competitions.

The British Horse Society (Hampshire Committee) To promote and facilitate the prevention of cruelty, neglect or harm to horses and to promote the relief, safety, sanctuary, rescue of horses in need of care and attention. To promote and secure, protection and preservation of rights of way and of access for riders and driven horses over public roads and highways, footpaths, bridleways, carriageways, public paths and other land.

The Fortune Centre of Riding Therapy (FCRT) The FCRT works particularly with children with complex disabilities on a once a week basis and people of 16 to 25 years with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities, whose educational needs cannot be met in local provision, through the residential Further Education Through Horsemastership (FETH) Course. Students are funded on the FETH Course by the Education Funding Agency and Social Services via their Local Authority.
