Basingstoke Ramblers' Club
A thriving well-established club affiliated to The Ramblers. With 150 or so walks being arranged each year, most walkers, whether newcomer, rambling or more experienced, can expect to find something of interest. Shorter walks are generally located within the Borough's area with longer walks venturing further afield into the rest of Hampshire including The New Forest, The Isle of Wight, Berks, Wilts, Surrey, Sussex and London. Long distance footpaths e.g. Avon Valley Path (Salisbury-Christchurch)are walked using coach travel to the start of, and from end of, the day's walk.

Ringwood & Fordingbridge Footpath Society
Although we are essentially a footpath protection organisation, we believe that the best way of maintaining the network in good order is to make regular use of it.The Society therefore organises regular walks. The Society's area is made up of the 13 parishes of Braemore, Damerham, Ellingham, Harbridge & Ibsley (single parish), Fordingbridge, Godshill, Hale, Hyde, Martin, Ringwood, Rockbourne, Sandleheath, Whitsbury and Woodgreen. Members receive details of walk venues. A Winter programme of talks and social events, both interesting and informative is arranged. We also arrange working groups involved in the formation and maintenance of rights of way.
