    Miniature railway at Bitterne Park; Passenger running April-September on Sundays from 1.00-4.00pm; 3.5"-5" gauge raised track; 7.25" gauge ground level track; Track is 1/5 mile round. Also members day on Wednesdays for chat & learning

    A Railway Society where meetings include slide lectures by guest speakers, subjects on most topics, mainly UK but sometimes overseas. Concentration on railway subjects of Southern and West of England. Annual members photographic evening and monthly newsletter `Track Topics'. Tea/coffee, biscuits etc normally available from 6.15pm prior to the meeting. Seasonal fayre at December meeting.

  • The Friends of Romsey Signal Box
    Preservation of the former Romsey Signal Box, now located in the grounds of the former Romsey Infants School. The Signal Box is open to visitors on the 1st Sunday of every month and in association with other events in Romsey. The monthly open days have been suspended whilst building work is being carried out on the former school site, it is anticipated they will resume be September '15, see website for details.
