Horndean and District Amateur Radio Club The membership of our club consists of licenced radio amateurs, short wave listeners, and others generally interested in electronics. The hobby of amateur radio is unique in the opportunity it gives for communication, through radio, with persons having a similar interest in nearly every country in the world.
We offer training courses for the Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced Amateur Radio Licences, and have a registered exam centre for the Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced licences.
The training equipment was updated in 2009 with a lottery grant from the Awards-for-All scheme.
