Andover History And Archaeology Society The aims of the society are to stimulate and maintain public interest in Archaeology and local history in and around Andover. Publish results of such study as shall be educational and for the public benefit. Organise meetings, lectures, exhibitions and other activities.

Avon Valley Archaeological Society Amateur Society holding lectures (winter programme). Fieldwork as available and visits Library books are for loan to members free. Annual newsletter free by e-mail to paid up members (paper copies £5). To non-members £6.00 (£8.80 by mail). Assistance and excavation experience for students - no money offered and they are expected to supply their own transport. Membership is required if students wish to borrow books or participate in fieldwork. The fieldwork is usually Summer, rather than Winter events.

Liss Archaeological Group We have various specialist groups within the organisiation -
Finds processing, landscape analysis, trench planning and recording, field walking, surveying and geophysics, soil analysis, research, metal detecting and archaeological digging.
No previous experience is needed.
Training sessions and experience in various aspects of archaeology are offered throughout the year.
We arrange occasional visits & places of archaeological interest & occasional speakers & exhibitions.

Romsey Local History Society (LTVAS Group) Historical and Archaeological research in Lower Test Valley. Annual programme includes talks, guided visits and weekly workshops. Help given to students, private researchers, schools and other organisations. Results of research published both to members and the general public. Twice monthly public lectures. Twice weekly workshops. The Friends of Botley Road Cemetery are part of the LTVAS Group.
