Probus Club (Fareham)
We have over forty members who were prominent in their business life and now enjoy the company of like minded members on a monthly basis. Prior to a two course lunch the members enjoy a drink and a chat in the lounge. After lunch a speaker gives a talk which is usually very interesting and covers a variety of subjects from Ostrich farming to Round the World Yacht Racing. The club is run on a simple basis that members inform the Secretary if they cannot make it. There are no arduous duties as it is recognised that being retired the members want to relax and enjoy the get together.
