We are committed to supporting, enabling and celebrating volunteering in all its diversity.
Services and activities offered:
The Volunteer Centre raises awareness of volunteering in general. It recruits and places people with voluntary and statutory bodies and advertises vacancies for organisations all round the District. We run information and training days for volunteers and organisations and publicise our work in local newspapers & on the national web site - www.do-it.org.uk. We provide support, information and advice to encourage good practice by organisations and volunteers.

We are a service of a CVS.
Times:
Office hours Monday to Wednesday 9.00am - 5.00pm.
We can arrange to meet outside of these hours and at an alternative venue.
