Aims and objectives:
FGFA - work to empower vulnerable adults & children who have been affected by domestic abuse.
FGFA - aim to raise awareness and support other professionals with their understanding of domestic
abuse.
Services and activities offered:
Fareham & Gosport Family Aid is a voluntary group who currently manage the Fareham & Gosport Women's refuge. We offer safe and secure accommodation to women & their children fleeing domestic violence. This short term accommodation allows women the opportunity to consider their options and make plans for the future. We also offer advice and support to men, women & children in times of crisis, in their homes and in drop-in centre when they cannot, or do not wish to, come into refuge. 0ur children's support workers work with children of refuge residents and floating support service users.FGFA run an Empowerment Programme in each Borough, these Programmes are for Women who have or are experiencing Domestic Abuse.
Restrictions:
Any adult or Child who has or is experiencing Domestic Abuse.
Times:
24hours a day, 7 days a week.
