Description

Services and activities offered: We meet each month from September to July. During the summer months we visit sites of local historical interest. The rest of the time we have talks concerned with things of interest. Recent events have been talks on Imber - The lost village on Salisbury Plain, memories of Paulton Park and a tour of Highcliffe Castle. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available after the meeting. Subscription affiliates members to Lower Test Valley Archaeological Society in addition to membership of History group.

Special needs catered for: We do not have any special facilities. The Community Centre is not ours - just used by us once a month.

Charges: A year's membership is £10 for individuals, £16 families. Sometimes a charge of £1 has to be made to cover speakers expenses. Visitors who are not members are asked to contribute £2 per meeting.

Times: Usually at 7.45pm on the second Thursday of each month for talks. On a weekend for visits.
