Aims and objectives:
To support Portsmouth Museums and Records Service.
Services and activities offered:
To support and assist the Portsmouth Museums & Records Service in their work and to promote the use of these facilities to the general public. To do this the Society organises a programme of monthly lectures and occasional visits, holidays and fund-raising events. Members also work as volunteers. Guest speakers give talks on a variety of subjects.
Charges:
Individual £9.00 per annum; Family membership available at £18; Senior citizens/students £8. Non-members are welcome at meetings - a small charge will be made.
Times:
Regular meetings 3rd Thursday of each month 7.30pm
- usually at Portsmouth D-Day Museum.
