Aims and objectives: To preserve the historic buildings and traditional rural heritage of South East England.

Services and activities offered: An open air Museum where visitors can explore the homes and gardens, farms and rural workplaces of the past 500 years in South East England. Recreated Bayleaf medieval farmstead, a working watermill, working Tudor kitchen and the Downland Gridshell. Adult Learning courses in Building Conservation, rural crafts and schools workshops on many areas of the national curriculum.

Minimum age: 14

Special needs catered for: Limited wheelchair access; Disabled toilets. Tours for special groups catered for. Dogs welcome on leads.

Charges: Contact for charges. Children under 4 FREE.
