To preserve the historic buildings and traditional rural heritage of South East England.
Services and activities offered:
An open air Museum where visitors can explore the homes and gardens, farms and rural workplaces of the past 500 years in South East England. Recreated Bayleaf medieval farmstead, a working watermill, working Tudor kitchen and the Downland Gridshell. Adult Learning courses in Building Conservation, rural crafts and schools workshops on many areas of the national curriculum.
Special needs catered for:
Limited wheelchair access; Disabled toilets. Tours for special groups catered for. Dogs welcome on leads.
