Aims and objectives:
To increase awareness and knowledge of the dramatic arts in the community by providing opportunities for the engagement with, and performance of, classical, contemporary and new playwriting. The promotion of the knowledge that William Shakespeare lived & worked in Titchfield during his ‘lost years’.
Services and activities offered:
RAODS own and manage the Plaza Theatre, Romsey. The company produces up to 13 in-house shows a year - from all genres of the dramatic arts, with particular reference to it's Shakespeare productions (of which there are 3 a year). Other companies can hire the theatre for their own shows which we also promote to our patrons. Activities include everything from costume making to scenery building to running the bar.
Special needs catered for:
For disabled entry, carers are available on show nights to guide disabled patrons to their seats. A ground floor entrance is available for ease of wheelchair access.
Charges:
There is no membership fee. Tickets for productions vary from £9.00 with various concessions available.

Times:
Usually most evenings of the week for active members who are rehearsing shows (we normally have 3 shows in rehearsal at any one time). Outside hire normally from 6.45pm - see website for more details on show performance times and dates.
