Aims and objectives: Southampton University Players (SUP) is an amateur dramatic society based at the University of Southampton. Our membership is drawn from current and past university staff, some students, as well as people of all ages from the wider Southampton community.

Services and activities offered: As a society we put on two major productions a year at the Nuffield Theatre as well as studio and children’s outdoor productions. In addition we regularly participate in drama festivals both in Eastleigh and Totton.

Minimum age: 16

Special needs catered for: We conduct individual assessments based on the individual's particular needs and take all reasonable steps to encourage participation.

Charges: £10 per year membership

Times: Rehearsals for a production at the Nuffield Theatre take place twice a week usually on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7.30pm – 10pm. In the weeks before a production, rehearsals may increase to include a Sunday morning or afternoon.
