Aims and objectives:
To offer lectures and other opportunities for people in Hampshire to widen their interest in British, European & World history of all periods.
Services and activities offered:
7 lectures, often illustrated, each winter (October to April) and an outing in early summer to a historical site. Occasionally we offer a lecture day.
Special needs catered for:
We meet in a room which is accessible to wheel chairs and usually with a loop system for the hearing impaired.
Charges:
£5 per person (or £8 for two people living at the same address) for the lecture series. £2 for individual lectures. Lectures are free to members of the Historical Association and to students.
Times:
Usually the second Wednesday each month from October to March and the last Friday of April.
