Aims and objectives:
Aims to research and record the history and memories of Fareham and to record changes in the development of Fareham.
Services and activities offered:
Informal research group, meets at Westbury manor museum once a month for talks on local history and related topics- membership up to 80 but no limit. Aims to keep alive, record and save Fareham's past and ever changing present. Produces a booklet 'Fareham Past & Present' twice yearly - present cost £2.00 + p&p. Mrs Alice James has produced books 'Fareham Between the Wars' £5; and 'Around Fareham' £9.99 - Book No 4 Aspects of Fareham £9.99. Welcomes new members.
