Description

Services and activities offered: Professional and educational organisation for psychiatrists in the UK. Provide leaflets on common mental health problems for the general public and fact sheets on common psychiatric treatments. Materials available free of charge with SAE. Ran national campaign 'Changing Minds' to increase understanding of mental health problems and reduce stigma & discrimination. In 2004, launched a joint campaign with the Princess Royal Trust for Carers, Partners in Care: Working together to make a real difference.

Restrictions: Membership is restricted to Psychiatrists in training or who have passed the MRCPsych or who have been approved by the Court of Electors. Rooms are available for hire on www.rcpsych.ac.uk

Charges: Membership charge for psychiatrists. Material for general public (which can be downloaded from the website at www.rcpsych.ac.uk) are free except for postage.

Times: Available from 9.00am to 7.00pm
