Description

Aims and objectives: Test Valley Arts Foundation is an independent grant giving charity supporting the Arts in the Borough of Test Valley, established in 1991 with generous help from TESCO and Test Valley Borough Council. Since its inception Test Valley Arts Foundation has distributed some £75,000 in grants, awards, bursaries and underwriting to individual artists and arts organisations throughout the Test Valley.

Services and activities offered: We can assess, encourage, support and influence the development of challenging and experimental new projects and offer a pool of expertise in the arts. We are responsive to the needs of the diverse resident community and grant applications are especially welcomed from young people and the elderly. In addition to grant giving, we raise funds for the arts in Test Valley via individual and corporate donations and sponsorship, and via grants, legacies, fundraising events, gifts-in-kind. New flexible studio spaces available for visual arts. Chapel Arts is now open with up to 4 studio spaces available for rent.

Restrictions: The Open Access Award can be granted to Groups, individuals or organisations. There is no age limit. The Colvin Young Artists Award is aimed at Artists at the outset of their careers aged between 16 and 26 years and Artists working in any art form. For the first time, in 2007 this award will be open for the further artistic education of school and college leavers. As to the Morrisson Music Award, preference will be given to applicants from the north of the borough, Andover and surrounding areas. Applicants should be 25 years or under.
