Aims and objectives:
To provide a comprehensive programme of support, learning and activity for disabled, and non-disabled people within (and from) a safe, supportive and accessible environment.
Services and activities offered:
Day Care, Advocacy, Occuptaional Therapy, NVQ Training, IT, Woodwork and Craft Workshops, Multi-gym Restaurant and Training Rooms, Carers Support, Transport, Functions and facility Management, Rural IT Training Bus, Recycling and a range of support services and facilities.
The Riverside Centre is a fully accessible community resource, with parking for 80 vehicles, and is accredited IIP, Chartermark and is the Island's principal social firm (European Social Firm of 2007 and National Training Award Winner 2006).

It is fully accessible with appropriately experienced and qualified staff to support individuals with a range of needs. We have just installed a fully accessible courtyard & changing
place toilet facility.
Although no charges for day care, the restaurant (a seperate organisation) does charge with any surpluses vired to the charity. People with personal budgets are welcome.
The Centre is open 7.00am - 11.00pm Mon - Fri and 9.00am - 5.00pm Sat and Sun.

Office or workstations, Small meeting room, Large meeting room / function room, Large hall/auditorium, Conference centre, Resource room/centre, ICT/Internet room, Play room, Sports facility, BBC Radio Solent, Victim Support, Carers UK, Footprint Trust, Real World Trust and other agencies are based at the Riverside.
