Aims and objectives:
The Acorn Centre has 9 rooms and a large hall available for hire. The centre has disabled toilets, free public car park, a cafe, a charity shop, laundrette and IT suite. To promote the benefits of cooperation and social integration to the local community.
Services and activities offered:
Over 50's lunch club; The Aviary Cafe 9am-5pm; Community Launderette + charity shop. Free internet access, IT courses for beginners and a monthly table top sale.
(Groups held here: Taiho Jutsu, Boxing, Zumba, Disco's for under 13's, Ladies night, Mens night & Kids cooking).

Special needs catered for:
Disabled parking, wide access doors, split level reception desk, single floor access to all rooms
and disabled toilets. We are also developing a 'buddy' system where a more able volunteer teams up with a less able & both benefit.

8 week IT courses £3.75 per session; Over 50's lunch club £3.50 per person; Table top sale £3.50 per table.

Mon - Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm & Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm.
