Aims and objectives:
We are an independent charitable trust and accredited Museum. Our aim is to preserve for the benefit of the public, our collections relating to Gilbert White, Frank Oates and Lawrence Oates.
Services and activities offered:
Gilbert White's House is run by a charitable trust which maintains the historic home and garden of the 18th century naturalist as a visitor attraction, and continues this tradition by offering an educational programme specialising in environmental studies to students of all ages. Also a museum devoted to the Oates family and in particular Lawrence Oates of Antarctic fame.
Special needs catered for:
Ground floor, garden, tea parlour, gift shop and toilets accessible.

Adults £8.50; Concessions £7.50; Under 16 £3.00; Under 5 Free; Family Ticket (2A + 3C) £20; Pre booked group of 10+ £6.50; Garden only ticket £6.50

2013: 1st Jan - 17th Feb Friday - Sunday 10.30am-4.30pm;
19th Feb - 22nd Dec Tues - Sunday 10.30am - 4.30
(close at 5.15pm 1st April - 31st October).
Also every Bank Holiday Monday and Mondays throughout July & August.
