We aim to provide services & facilities to local residents & residents of Portsmouth.
Services and activities offered:
The Association offers a wide range of recreational, social and educational activities which are open to all sections of the community. A full programme is printed. All groups are happy to welcome new members where vacancies exist. Anyone wishing to start a new group or assist with an existing one should contact a member of staff. During the year we hold regular social and fund raising events for all the family, children and guests are always welcome. The centre has a community orchard run by volunteers, and hosts the community cycle centre, a cycle re-cycling project.
Restrictions:
All hirers must be 18+. All requests considered.
Special needs catered for:
Disabled toilets; Easy access downstairs; No lift available for upstairs. We provide a club for disabled people 16+ years on Friday evenings from 6.00 - 9.00pm (games, skittles, football & a social evening). Disco once a month from 7.00 - 10.00pm with tuck shop, canteen facilities and a licenced bar - £2.50 entrance fee. £3.00 on a disco night.
Charges:
Full members - Children £2.00; adults £5.00; over 60's £3.00 (all outside and in area of benefit).
Times:
Monday 9.00am - 9.30pm;
Tues & Weds 9.00am - 9.00pm;
Thurs 9.00am - 10.00pm;
Friday 9.00am -11.00pm & Sat & Sun on request for children/adult parties.
