Aims and objectives:
The Carroll Centre is a charity based in Stanmore that promotes activities to benefit children, young people & families in the local areas.
Provide a safe, non-discriminatory environment, in which the principles of equal opportunities are actively promoted, without distinction of gender, age, sexual orientation or race; or of political, religious or other beliefs.
Build partnerships between children, young people, families & other agencies in a common effort to advance learning & provide activities in the interest of health & social welfare, recreation & leisure time occupation.
Services and activities offered:
After School Care, Year R - 6.
Children's Centre - Action for Children.
Under 5 activities.
2-4 years nursery provision.
Stanmore Community Library, Winchester Community Midwives.
Hire of facilities to community groups and for training sessions.
Special needs catered for:
All level flooring, single storey building. Disabled toilet. Level access from car park.
Entry fee for some youth sessions.
Charge for After School provision, Nursery and Holiday Activities.
Hire of rooms.
Childrens Centre activities - small charge (operated by Action for Children).
Refreshments on sale at Cafe.
Open 9.00am - 6.00pm.
Weekdays holiday playscheme 8.30am - 4.30pm.
After School Care 3.00 - 6.00pm.
Youth Sessions Tues 6.30 - 9.30pm; Thursday 7.00 - 9.30pm & Friday 6.30 - 8.30pm.
