The preservation programme provides vintage A & D buses for use on 'running days' as a living museum, enabling its public to enjoy their public transport heritage.

  • Good Neighbours - Hampshire
    We have volunteers who use their own cars to take people to and from hospital, GP and other health appointments. Some groups do shopping, offer befriending or run lunch/coffee clubs; some will do dog walking, change a light bulb, put up a shelf, tune a TV, change a library book or DVD; some have minibuses for outings and trips - generally they offer small practical bits of help for people of all ages. It is always worth asking a Good Neighbour group if it can help you.

  • Hart Community Outreach
    Through the use of converted vehicles (double-decker buses), Hart Community Outreach is able to provide children, young people and adults with a mobile facility for activities and projects, working in partnership with other organisations and agencies. Current activities include youth clubs, work on traveller/gypsy sites. Community Safety and Project Awareness Days.

  • Locks Heath Communicare Association
    Communicare's main activity is to provide transport to medical appointments including hospital appointments at Portsmouth & Southampton Hospitals, primarily for elderly people. They also run a Lunch Club on Monday (Sarisbury) & Tuesday (Warsash), a Minibus shopping run to Locks Heath Centre every Thursdays and a coffee shop at Lockswood Centre. Minibus shopping run to either Whiteley or Fareham on Fridays.

    Aims to improve access to the town centre and local facilities for people with impaired mobility, whether temporary or permanent, through the hire of wheelchairs and powered scooters. Manual chairs are available for long lets and 4 light weight scooters are available for holiday lets.
