  • Homeserve
    Homeserve provides three services for older people in the Gosport area who need help to carry out these tasks themselves. The services include Dustbusters, a weekly domestic cleaning service, Gosport Gardens and DART (Decorating and Repair Team). All three services are a not-for-profit organisation.

  • Hortictherapy
    Hortic therapy delivers therapeutic gardening sessions to residents in nursing and residential care homes. The more active residents work outside in the garden whilst the Dementia clients and less able bodied have indoor table top sessions. Private home visits to conduct table top gardening and craft sessions.

  • University of the Third Age (U3A - Eastleigh District)
    U3A is a learning co-operative of older people which enables members to share many educational, creative and leisure activities. Groups are formed to pursue special interests such as computer, discussion, keep fit, reading and history. Visiting place of interest is also included as part of our activities.

    A monthly general meeting with a speaker and small group meetings, usually in members' homes, on topics of common interest - e.g. literature, poetry, musical appreciation, languages, geneaology and local history. Approximately 30 subject and activity groups are run though some have waiting lists to join.
