  • Innovations Jazz Orchestra
    Formed during 1999 the orchestra has around 20 members. We play a variety of big band, swing and pop standards. People can have a go at jazz improvisation and all musicians are welcome (grade 5 upwards). Piano, drums, guitar, bass, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, flute & clarinet. We are availabe for weddings, concerts, parties, charity fundraisers and dances.

  • The Old Basing Royal British Legion Corps of Drums
    We are a military-style band with 25 members, playing drums, bugles, trumpet and glockenspiel. We attend official Legion events for the local branch and further afield. We also attend carnivals/galas/ concerts and parades and have made several trips abroad. We welcome new members - all ages and abilities, although some musical knowledge is preferred.   • The Young Entertainers Musical Theatre School
    The YEM School offers a wide range of classes in Dance, Drama and Music. Our subjects include Musical Theatre, Drama, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Street Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Rock Choir. We offer the opportunity to take exams and to perform in our regular shows.

    Amateur Military Band (ie Brass, Woodwind and Percussion). We have a programme of public concerts which include the regular outdoor concerts in Lymington during the Summer.

  • Twinning Association (Fareham Vannes)
    Primarily to arrange exchange visits between groups e.g: Table Tennis, Youth Soccer, mechanical, music, as well as civic exchanges. Sporting visits are carried out annually, alternating between the two towns. We also run a French conversation group.

    We take pride in introducing the community to brass music and bringing them into the brass band world. We have a First Section 'A' band and a Fourt Section Town Band. In addition we have a Training Band for new players and a Youth Band for young players throughout the area that may be afiliated with other bands.
