CAFOD
A dedicated team of volunteers in the Catholic diocese of Portsmouth (which covers Hampshire, parts of Berkshire and Oxfordshire and the Channel Islands) helps parishoners and school pupils learn more about global poverty, motivating more and more people to join us and take action. We offer several roles including volunteer speakers, campaigners, MP correspondents and education volunteers. Training and support provided for all roles.

Dentaid
- Oral Health Promotion: Dentaid supports educational and preventative oral health programmes.
- Physical Resources: Dentaid provides refurbished dental surgeries, equipment and consumable resources to support tertiary centres of oral health care (over 250 projects in 50 countries). We have also developed and now provide portable resources that are appropriate to a primary oral health setting.
- Capacity Building: Dentaid helps build the capacity of individuals and organisations through the transfer of knowledge and/or skills.
- Advocacy: Dentaid campaigns on behalf of individuals and/or communities to address the causes of poor oral health.
We welcome volunteers to help in all our activities.

Gosport Fairtrade Action
We give talks, offer exhibitions, attend public events with stalls, offer support to schools, places of worship, businesses and groups which want to know more about Fairtrade. We publish a list of retailers and caterers in Gosport offering fairly traded productly on our website.

Open Hands Gambia
Aims to support children and families through provision of medicine, education and assistance with basic nutrition. Supports children in school. Plan to build wells, plant fruit trees. Setting up Goat Farms to provide milk for mal-nourished children, sponsoring the Sulayman Junkung Hospital in Bwiam by supplying equipment, medical aid and finance.

products in the Portsmouth area and to increase the understanding of Fairtrade issues. Portsmouth is now a Fairtrade city and we need to monitor this and build on the achievements.

The Charity 'eye contact'
We Manufacture/Supply: for the relief of blind persons, particularly young blind persons by supplying, manufacturing, repairing, servicing and obtaining from anywhere in the world, Braille Typewriters, Specialist aids and other equipment/resources that are generally/ specifically needed for the training, education and teaching of skills for life which they would not generally be able to obtain because of lack of means.
To advance the education/resources of all blind and sighted persons partcularily in Braille Literacy.
Charitable and Benevolent Links: To advance and encourage any other charitable purposes as the Trustees at their discretion believe would benefit blind/partially sighted/multiply disabled children.

The United Euro Bridge (TUEB) organise work placements across all the EU states members offering all EU citizens the possibility of undertaking work experience in a foreign country.
TUEB gets in touch with all EU countries disseminating information across European enterprises and European universities through newsletters and articles released on European press and local papers.
