    The club is part of the Southern Photographic Federation and welcomes new members, whether experienced photographers or new to photography and seeking to learn. A friendly club which values its social aspect as well as monthly competitions in digital images and prints, we have guest speakers covering a wide range of subjects. We have a maximum of 40 due to the size of the room where we meet. Most members now use digital cameras.

    We meet regularly every two weeks from September to April to listen to external speakers as well as speakers from our own club. We have a number of informal competitions each year using constructive judges so that we can learn from their comments. We arrange several outings during the year and hold a number of social events including an annual dinner.
