• Careers Development Group
  CDG started delivering the Work Programme as a prime contractor in London East in June 2011. In alliance with MAXIMUS, we are also delivering the Work Programme in London West and Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and are a delivery partner to Avanta in Sussex. In partnership with WISE Ability, CDG is a Work Choice prime provider in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, responsible for delivering employment support to people with disabilities. As part of its charitable and public benefit CDG launched CDG Volunteers in 2011. The two initiatives provide further support to people wanting to find and stay in work by tapping into the expertise of people who would like to give something back.

  Nightstop provides: • A safe, supportive environment – all households are security-checked. • Bed, breakfast, evening meal, bath/shower and laundry facilities. No cost to young people – households receive expenses. • Volunteer drivers. • Support Volunteers to help you with advice, appointments and benefits forms. • Support, space and a time to review options. • Signposting to other local agencies for advice on housing, jobs, education and health.

• Public Concern At Work
  We operate a free, confidential helpline that advises workers on whether/how raise concerns about serious malpractice that they witness at work. We also advise and assist organisations with risk management and setting up whistleblowing policies to allow them to address staff concerns appropriately.

• Springboard Life Coaching, Career Guidance and Counselling
  1 - One-to-One Careers interviews - on an appointment basis, professionally qualified careers consultants provide clients with impartial confidential careers information, advice and guidance. 2 - On-going low-cost one-to-one life coaching and counselling are available after an initial session. 3 - Careers Software - assess interests or identify key/work-related skills to give a list of job matches and manageable easy-to-read job information. 4 - Office equipment/papers and on-goingsupport to e.g. update CV's and write covering letters. 5 - Opportunity to gain experience as office receptionist/admininstator to add to CV. 6 - Software Practice: word processing, spreadsheets, database and accounts.
