Aims and objectives:
We are a community run pre-school set up as a registered charity. We provide children from 2 to 5 years the opportunity to learn through play in a stimulating and nurturing environment within the EYFS and OFSTED guidelines.
Services and activities offered:
We had an Outstanding Ofsted report on April 2010. We follow EYFS guidelines to provide continuous provision, setting the standards for learning.
We have a permanent building with well planned accessibility for children and adults including those with disabilities.
With a generous inside and outside area our provision includes an outside classroom, planting area, digging and recycle area.
We encourage our children to enjoy activities by offering interactive learning using inside and outdoor provisions.
We offer flexible starting and collection times.
Our well established qualified team offers good practice by providing a high ratio of staff to children.
We offer a keyworker system, first aiders and have a trained SENCO
Special needs catered for:
Each childs needs are assessed individually and can be addressed.
All Staff are trained in Special Needs lead by a fully trained SENCO.
We work closely with outside agencies such as Portage, Area Inco.
We can make referrals for speech therapy.
